How do you identify your primary photographic style?
Our style is a fun, documentary style coverage, that allows you to go about your celebration knowing the moments with friends and family are being captured spontaneously. For those looking for a more direction, and have more time to get creative, we will use some fun posing techniques as well as the environment to make some images that suit your personality, whether that be more fashion oriented or a little more edgy, the choice is yours.
Please describe any special techniques you offer?
We specialize in color, black/white, sepia, photo pop (spot color), expressive, and other creative digital photographic editing techniques.
How many photographers do you work with?
Heather Graves is the primary photographer; however, additional photographers and assistants are often hired on a contract coverage basis for weddings and special events, etc.
What is included in the sitting fee?
What prints are included?
This includes the photographer’s time during the session, the time to edit images, an onLine gallery to host your favorite 15-20 images for six months to one year, consultation order time via phone/Internet, and delivery of your prints/products.
When is the session fee due?
The session fee is due to reserve your appointment. No appointment is secured until paid in full. This is payable by cash, check, or major credit card. This payment locks in your date.
How soon after the session are the images ready for viewing?
Images are ready for viewing within 72 hours from your session. Be sure to check the BLOG … as they will appear here when ready.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes. How Charming Photography retains the copyright of all images.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer several styles of albums, including Storybooks, Wedding Books, ProofBooks, etc.
How long does it take to deliver a storybook?
The delivery time of your album is directly affected by your involvement in the process. To insure a timely delivery you must choose your favorite images promptly, and notify us of your intent. Storybooks are paid via cash, check, or money order and are designed and ordered upon payment receipt. Approximate delivery time is 3 to 4 weeks from payment receipt.
How long does it take to get my prints/products?
Regular prints and products (5×7 to 24×36) are ready for delivery with 10-14 days of order. Storybooks arrive within three to four weeks of order. (Please be advised that holidays do delay processing by two days).
Do you provide images on a disk?
This service is not available for a number of reasons. The most important being that all images are captured at extremely high resolution. If a customer wishes to print at a local retail establishment or onLine service (i.e. Shutterfly, SnapFish, etc)… their processing center does not have the capability to not only product high-resolution images because the images appear distorted/darkened/etc. This is not a proper representative of the quality and workmanship of How Charming Photography. We do, however, tag a number of favorites to be utilized on your Facebook page.
